On May 18, the First Meeting of the Eighth Board of Directors of the RUC Alumni Association was held in Beijing. During the meeting, outstanding organizations and individuals in alumni affairs for 2024 were recognized.
The RUC North America Alumni Association (RUC-NAAA) received the “Outstanding Alumni Organization” award. Huang Beiqing, Board Member and Secretary-General of RUC-NAAA and President of the New York Chapter, was named an “Outstanding Alumni Affairs Professional.”
In North America, the Canada RUC Alumni Association also received the “Outstanding Alumni Organization” award, while its Secretary-General, Liu Yuebing, was named an “Outstanding Alumni Affairs Professional.”
At the meeting, Wu Yafeng, Vice Chairman and President of RUC-NAAA, and Li Xufeng, President of the Canada RUC Alumni Association and Board Member of RUC-NAAA, were elected Deputy Secretaries-General of the RUC Alumni Association.
Wu Yafeng and Li Xufeng each delivered remarks at the meeting, sharing their experience in alumni association development with the alma mater and alumni from around the world.
