Decision of the Board of Directors of the RUC North America Alumni Association on the Establishment of the Los Angeles Chapter

As the alumni organizational system of Renmin University of China (RUC) in North America continues to develop, and in response to the growing need among RUC alumni in Southern California for a more standardized and institutionalized organization, the Board of Directors of the RUC North America Alumni Association has adopted the following resolution:
Effective October 1, 2026, the RUC Southern California Alumni Association will formally become part of the RUC North America Alumni Association and will be renamed the “Los Angeles Chapter of the RUC North America Alumni Association.”
Following consultation and consideration, the following appointments have been made:
Li Junzheng (RUC Class of 1988) is appointed President of the Los Angeles Chapter, concurrently serving as Vice President of the RUC North America Alumni Association, and appointed as an Alternate Director of the RUC North America Alumni Association;
Yang Guang (RUC Class of 2012) is appointed Secretary-General of the Los Angeles Chapter, concurrently serving as Deputy Secretary-General of the RUC North America Alumni Association;
Wang Xiaoming (RUC Class of 1986) is appointed Executive Vice President of the Los Angeles Chapter;
Ye Chun (RUC Class of 1997) is appointed Executive Vice President of the Los Angeles Chapter;
Susan Zhang (RUC Class of 1986) is appointed Vice President of the Los Angeles Chapter;
Wang Min (RUC Class of 1996) is appointed Vice President of the Los Angeles Chapter;
Li Peng (RUC Class of 2000) is appointed Vice President of the Los Angeles Chapter.
The above decision has been reported to the RUC Alumni Association (the University’s central alumni association).
