什么是“北美明德论坛”？
大学之道，在明明德，在亲民，在止于至善。
立明德以为圭臬，开胸襟以纳百川。中国人民大学北美校友会创设的北美明德论坛，开放性和国际性并重、学术性和实践性平衡。2015年10月在纽约启动，2016年11月定名。辩驳切磋研讨解析，以求格物致知；三人有师取长补短，以期修身齐家；建言献策家国为上，以盼兼济天下。
北美明德论坛2022年会将是连续第八届年会。
